Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the blackest of them all ?!-Top eyeliner pencils

A much awaited and a much requested post this! The one question I've been repeatedly asked regarding makeup has always been.." What's a good eyeliner that's black ,affordable and doesn't smudge ?"

A quick eyeliner and a lip gloss sums up the makeup routine of an enormous amount of busy women.So, it becomes imperative to search and find that one eyeliner pencil that one can find nirvana in.

Eyeliners are of many types and consistencies and a trip to the beauty store will only confuse you further. Let us take a look and break down the various types available and what they are best used for .

    
 Types of eyeliners: (broadly speaking )

• Eyeliner pencils and Kohls
• Gel eyeliners in a pot or pen form 
• Liquid eyeliner

Kohl pencils- For a smudged , sultry smokey eye

The following are my picks in each category and an added advantage of all of them being extremely affordable (sans MAC ) in no particular order.As you can see, all of these pencils have received much love from me and a pick from any of these will not disappoint .

Now for some swatches !! The following are some of my favourite kohl pencils and the colour payoff they provide in one and multiple swatches. 

  

                        

No eyeliner for me is considered good enough if it doesn't stand the test of water.So here, I have smudged my eyeliners vigorously ,washed them under water and then soap.The last pic is what remains after a good wash with my cleanser.And that, my lovelies is what you want.You want an eyeliner that stays put ,endures mechanical rubbing but washes off with cleansing and does not give u panda eyes !
